What power does a lightning rod hold against human superstition?
This film offers glimpses into the life of Prokop Diviš – a devoted priest who sought to uncover the laws of nature. His invention is widely known, yet the story of his life remains largely untold. Based on visual designs by a renowned Czech artist Vendula Chalánková, director Jan Cechl creates a distinctive short animation that stylistically draws on the principles of Baroque theatre.
